CHICKEN PEPPER MASALA 

Home style Chicken Pepper Masala is a simple recipe with minimum ingredients which is made with freshly ground Masala tastes delicious with rice,idli, dosa and chapati.

INGREDIENTS :
For Saute:
. Coconut oil     - 1 tbsp
. Small onion chopped - 2 to 3 nos.
. Tomato chopped - half 
. Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
For Grinding:
. Small onion - 4 to 5 nose. 
. Garlic - 1 whole
. Ginger - 1 inch
. Cinnamon - 1 small piece 
. Clove - 1 no. 
. Black pepper - 1 tbsp
. Cumin - 1/2 tsp
. Red chilly - 3 nos. (depends on spice       level) 
. Curry leaves - few
. Coriander leaves - few with stem

. CHICKEN leg 2 nos.
. Water as required 
. Salt as per taste

For Garnish:
. Coriander leaves 

STEPS:
1. Ingredients. 
2. Add the mentioned ingredients for grinding in a mixer jar and grind to a fine paste. 
3. In a kadai add coconut oil, small onion chopped and saute it till soft.
4.Add tomato, Turmeric powder and saute till mushy. 
5.Add chicken and saute. 
6. Add the ground Masala paste and saute for few minutes.

7.Add water, salt and cook the chicken leg both side for 20 minutes each side 10 minutes. 


8. By this time chicken will be cooked and you can take the Masala separately leaving a little in kadai and allow the Masala to coat in chicken for dry chicken Pepper Masala. Garnish with coriander leaves. 

Chicken Pepper Masala is ready to be served.
